مذكرة تفاهم بين جامعة العلوم التطبيقية الخاصة وأمانة عمان

 

وقعت جامعة العلوم التطبيقية الخاصة وأمانة عمان الكبرى مذكرة تفاهم يوم الإثنين الموافق السادس عشر من شهر شباط لعام 2026 وذلك لتعزيز التعاون والعمل المشترك بين المؤسستين. ووقع الاتفاقية ممثلاً عن الجامعة رئيس مجلس أمناء الجامعة الدكتور هيثم أبوخديجة وممثلاً عن أمانة عمان رئيس لجنة أمانة عمان الكبرى الدكتور يوسف الشواربة، بحضور نائب رئيس لجنة أمانة عمان المهندس زياد الريحاني، ومدير المدينة المهندس نبيل الجريري في مبنى الأمانة، وعميد كلية الفنون والتصميم الأستاذ الدكتور عماد الفحماوي، والأستاذة إيناس درادكة من قسم تصميم التواصل البصري.

 

وتهدف الاتفاقية إلى تعزيز التعاون في تنفيذ مشاريع تصميمية و إبداعية تبرز الهوية الثقافية للعاصمة عمان، وإشراك الطلبة وأعضاء هيئة التدريس في المبادرات الثقافية التي تطلقها أمانة عمان، وإشراك الطلبة في البرامج والمشاريع الفنية الميدانية لتعزيز خبراتهم العملية، وتنفيذ مشاريع تصميمية ضمن مسابقات تطرحها الأمانة مثل تصميم الهوية البصرية للمناسبات الثقافية، إضافة إلى استضافة وتنظيم محاضرات وورش عمل وندوات فنية وثقافية في مرافق كلا الطرفين.

 

كما تهدف الى توفير الكفاءات الأكاديمية والإبداعية لدعم البرامج والأنشطة الثقافية، وربط مخرجات التعليم الفني بالاحتياجات الثقافية والفنية لمدينة عمان، ودعم البرامج التدريبية للطلبة في المراكز الثقافية التابعة للأمانة، إضافة إلى تنظيم ورش عمل ومحاضرات تسهم في تطوير الوعي الفني والثقافي لدى المجتمع المحلي.

 

وقال الشواربة أن توقيع هذه المذكرة إنما هو توثيق للتعاون المثمر مع مختلف المؤسسات خاصة الأكاديمية بهدف الاستفادة من التطوير والتدريب، ومزج الخبرات العلمية والعملية للارتقاء بمستوى الخدمات، وتعزيز دور الجامعات كشريك فاعل في التنمية.

 

من جهته قال أبو خديجة أن الجامعة تؤمن بدور التعليم التطبيقي والشراكات الحيوية في إحداث التغيير الحقيقي، وهذه المذكرة تشكل خطوة عملية نحو تمكين الكفاءات الشبابية.

 

وتسعى المؤسستين من خلال هذا التعاون إلى تعزيز التعاون بين القطاعين العام والأكاديمي، بهدف دمج طاقات الشباب وأفكارهم المبتكرة في صنع القرار وتطوير الخدمات البلدية المقدمة بما يخدم مستقبل المدينة.

 

Applied Science Private University and Greater Amman Municipality signed a Memorandum of Understanding on Monday, 16 February 2026, to strengthen cooperation and joint efforts between the two institutions.

 

The agreement was signed on behalf of the University by the Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Dr. Haitham Abu Khdeijah, and on behalf of Greater Amman Municipality by the Chairman of the Greater Amman Municipality Committee, Dr. Yousef Al-Shawarbeh, in the presence of the Deputy Chairman of the Committee, Eng. Ziad Al-Rihani, the City Manager, Eng. Nabil Al-Jariri, at the Municipality’s headquarters, as well as the Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Design, Professor Emad Al-Fahmawi, and Ms. Enas Dradkeh from the Department of Visual Communication Design.

 

The MoU aims to enhance collaboration in implementing design and creative projects that highlight the cultural identity of the capital, Amman. It also seeks to engage students and faculty members in cultural initiatives launched by the Municipality, involve students in field-based artistic programs and projects to strengthen their practical experience, and execute design projects within competitions organized by the Municipality, such as developing visual identities for cultural events. In addition, the agreement includes hosting and organizing lectures, workshops, and artistic and cultural seminars at the facilities of both parties.

 

The MoU further aims to provide academic and creative expertise to support cultural programs and activities, align art education outcomes with the cultural and artistic needs of the city of Amman, support student training programs at the Municipality’s cultural centers, and organize workshops and lectures that contribute to enhancing artistic and cultural awareness within the local community.

 

Al-Shawarbeh stated that the signing of this memorandum formalizes constructive cooperation with various institutions, particularly academic ones, to benefit from development and training opportunities, integrate scientific and practical expertise to elevate service standards, and reinforce the role of universities as active partners in development.

 

For his part, Abu Khdeijah affirmed that the University believes in the role of applied education and strategic partnerships in driving meaningful change, noting that this memorandum represents a practical step toward empowering young talents.

 

Through this collaboration, both institutions seek to strengthen cooperation between the public and academic sectors, with the aim of integrating youth energies and innovative ideas into decision-making processes and the development of municipal services in a manner that serves the future of the city.
